Teaching Assistant Professor

Lowell Valencia-Miller is teaching assistant professor in department of management at the Daniels College of Business. Lowell has spent over 30 years in business in a variety of leadership positions at numerous companies in various industries. In addition to working with established companies, Lowell has also been a founder and advisor to Colorado-based start-ups. His most notable entrepreneurial endeavor was helping get Frontier Airlines flying in July of 1994. Lowell also gives his time as a board member and volunteer to local non-profits like Family Tree of Wheat Ridge, Colo. After a long career in business, Lowell believes that it is the responsibility of all successful business leaders to give back to the communities that have helped them achieve so much. Lowell has chosen to give back to the business community and future leaders via the classroom at the Daniels College of Business. Lowell has a B.S. in technology from Bowling Green State University and an Executive MBA from the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver.
