Academics
The online MBA@Denver program explores a range of subjects that make up the foundations of business, such as finance, marketing and management. You will view each of these topics through social, environmental and ethical lenses to obtain a broad perspective on decision-making and prepare to become a responsible leader.
To further strengthen your ability to lead complex companies, the online MBA curriculum explores real-world difficulties faced by large and small organizations. You will also have opportunities to apply your skills to solve challenges from your own career. Some of your hands-on learning opportunities will include:
- Discussing current issues with executives to help you gain market-ready skills
- Participating in leadership-focused immersions to hone your management instincts and expertise
- Proposing solutions to a local business’s challenge as part of your capstone project to gain practical experience and a résumé boost
Additionally, you will have the option to tailor your experience by adding a concentration in Marketing, Finance, Executive Healthcare Administration, or Executive Leadership. These concentrations—which require an additional term to complete—allow you to deepen your expertise in the subject matter and broaden your opportunities in the job market.
The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which shows that it has met the highest educational standards of quality.
