Cathy Milkey, JD, serves as vice president and general counsel at a group of private companies and nonprofit organizations. She is also an affiliate professor in the MBA@Denver program where she specializes in leadership.  

Milkey began her legal career at Holland & Hart LLP in Denver, Colo., and she has been an attorney for over 15 years. In addition to her legal and business roles, she is a teacher at heart as well as a trained life coach. She has taught leadership, business law, ethics, and contracts to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Denver.  

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in mathematics and psychology, and she graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
