Cristin Cornell Tarr is passionate about marketing and how companies can improve their brand equity by taking care of people, planet, and profits. Cristin has almost twenty years of practical experience in marketing and is the founder and CEO of a boutique marketing consulting firm focused on purpose-driven brand management, customer experience and corporate responsibility (CR). She is a pioneer in connecting corporate brand and reputation to corporate values. Cristin’s teaching philosophy is simple; to inspire through actions. Her goal is to bridge theory to practice through experiential learning and her educational interests include, marketing strategy, branding, international marketing, storytelling (content), customer journey mapping, stakeholder engagement, digital media, measurement, and tracking. Cristin has led marketing and CR initiatives for Fortune 1000 companies through to entrepreneurs in a variety of industries including financial services, retail, construction management, airlines, tourism and oil, and gas. She is also a strategic advisor to a Washington D.C based global management consulting company promoting ethical leadership, economic prosperity & social good.
Cristin is a founder and past president of CISV Denver a global education nonprofit promoting global citizenship for youth around the world, a member of B:Civic, an association focused on corporate social responsibility and serves on the Leadership Council for The Posner Center for international development.
