Jessica King McLaughlin, PhD, LCSW, is an adjunct professor at the Daniels College of Business and the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver. During her doctoral training, she researched issues pertaining to caregiver burden, health care and workplace policy implications for working female caregivers. She continues this research as a project manager with the Paul Freeman Financial Security Program.
Prior to earning her doctorate degree, McLaughlin worked as a medical social worker at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies. She also worked in outpatient community mental health centers in Boston, Mass. and northern Colorado.
McLaughlin earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Emory University and her Master of Social Work from Boston College.
