Associate Professor of the Practice

Suzette Loving is an assistant professor of the practice in the School of Accountancy at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Her primary focus is teaching Accounting Information Systems and Introductory Financial Accounting courses. She also serves as an academic advisor for students in the Master of Accountancy program. Loving has 10 years of industry experience to bring to the classroom, working for companies such as eBay, Commerce One and Ernst & Young. While at eBay, she led the IT internal audit team, guided the company through the early years of SOX Section 404 and then transitioned the IT audit team to a traditional internal audit function. In her time at Commerce One, she served as a corporate trainer and curriculum developer for the company’s B2B software product suite. In the early part of her career, Loving worked for Ernst & Young in the Chicago office where she performed data analytics, IT general controls audits and specialized in SAP security implementations. She is a CPA and CISA.
