Tyler Thompson is an attorney and fellow of information privacy at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, an Am Law 50 international law firm. Tyler’s practice focuses on technology transactions and data privacy and security matters. Previously, Tyler worked for two Fortune 500 companies, a start-up and the University of Colorado.

Tyler was the registered proponent of Colorado’s Proposition 107 that brought presidential primaries back to Colorado and opened them to unaffiliated voters. He also worked on Proposition 108, which opened down-ballot races to unaffiliated voters. Tyler also worked for a U.S. Senate election campaign.

Tyler received both his BA in political science and JD from the University of Colorado. In his personal life, Tyler is a private pilot, scuba diver, outdoor enthusiast and avid reader.
